The school has adopted WHO’s guidelines of ten core life skills, which are Self-awareness, Decision-making, Effective communication, Problem-solving, Empathy, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Interpersonal relationship, Coping with stress and emotion.
Students exchange programmes propel students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. They help in developing a global outlook through myriad opportunities of collaboration.
On 22nd April, 2022, the 52ndWorld Earth Day was celebrated in school premises. The annual event brings together people from all over the world in support of the environment, highlighting the urgent action we need to take to save our planet. The theme of this year’s Earth Day was “Invest in our Planet”. Students learnt how to be responsible towards the environment by focusing on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.The Earth Day Celebrations began with a Special Assembly in the school ground. This was followed by making creative head gears, beautiful wrist bands and innovative badges and posters by our young Salwanians.
