Assessment is the key component of learning as it determines whether the goals of education are being met. It provides timely and informative feedback to students and motivates them towards self-improvement.
At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
The school has adopted WHO’s guidelines of ten core life skills, which are Self-awareness, Decision-making, Effective communication, Problem-solving, Empathy, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Interpersonal relationship, Coping with stress and emotion.
Students exchange programmes propel students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. They help in developing a global outlook through myriad opportunities of collaboration.
Our Principal Ms Rashmi Malik participated in a group deliberation on 8th June 2022 in Delhi with Mr Koji Sato (Director General, Japan Foundation), Mr Peters LY Chen (Director Education, Taipei Cultural & Economic Centre), Mr Euy D Park (President, Federation of Korean Associations in India), Mr Sanjeev Ahuja (Senior Editor, ACN Network) and Ms Chiaki Suzuki (Japanese Language Advisor)alongwith renowned education leaders across Delhi NCR, on importance of Asian Languages for future business and employment opportunities for students. A lot of ideas were submitted for bilateral strengthening of ties between India and the three countries to ensure students brighter future.
