Spic Macay – ‘Online Kathak Dance Learning Programme’
An online Kathak Dance learning program was organised by Spic Macay. The dates and timings of this program was 30th May 2022 to 3rd June 2022 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Salwan Public School, Gurugram was the host for this program. Other schools also participated in these five days online workshops.
In this program, online Kathak Dance classes were taken by Pt. Rajendra Gangani Ji. Pandit ji is one of the leading exponents of the Jaipur Gharana style of Kathak. For his contributions to the field of Kathak, Pandit ji received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2003 from The President of India A.P.J Abdul Kalam.
