Dandiya Workshop for Mothers

A lively and engaging Dandiya Workshop for the mothers of Montessori classes of Salwan Public School, Gurugram, was successfully conducted on 4th October in the school. The event aimed to bring mothers together in a fun, cultural activity while fostering community spirit and engagement with the school.
The workshop commenced with a warm welcome by Mrs. Rashmi Malik, the principal of the school, followed by a brief introduction to the traditional significance of Dandiya. The mothers were then guided through basic steps and sequences, creating an atmosphere filled with energy and excitement. The rhythmic beats and colourful attire added to the festive mood as participants danced with enthusiasm.
The workshop also provided an opportunity for mothers to bond and engage in a relaxing, joyful activity, strengthening their connection with the school and with each other.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed the session, with many expressing interest in participating in various other upcoming events and activities.
