Rakshbandhan Celebrations
To celebrate the festive spirit of Raksha Bandhan, Salwan Public School organised exciting activities on 16th August (Friday) for grade 1 and 2 with great enthusiasm and fervour. Montessori students learned about the strengthening bond of love between brothers and sisters and the promise of protection and care, while showcasing their talents and skills by making beautiful Rakhi using paper cut-outs, ribbons, mirrors and decorative materials. This activity helped them develop their fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of the promise to protect, care and love between brothers and sisters.
The festival, which symbolizes the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters, was marked enthusiastically by young learners. The girls of the school prepared beautiful handmade rakhis for their brothers, expressing their love and affection. The boys created thoughtful thank-you cards for their sisters, acknowledging the special bond they share. It was a joyous occasion for the students to come together and strengthen their sibling bonds.
