Salwan Public School, Gurugram hosted the sessions on ‘Save Soil Movement’ conducted by the representatives of Isha Foundation for the students of Classes VI to IX. Save Soil, the global movement, aims at invoking a conscious approach to soil and planet in all. One of the main objectives of the movement is to show governments across the world that their citizens want policies that revitalize ecology and soil.
The session commenced with the welcome note for the resource persons. The students, during the session, were apprised with conservation of soil as a part of Sustainable Development Goals. While interacting with the students, they were made realize the need for better condition of soil, not only for the humans but also for all the living beings on the planet.
The session concluded with an activity wherein the students composed their expressions as an oath to be a part of the mission.
